With case numbers continuing to rise, the Government is pleading with the public to obey the new lockdown rules and reinforcing the message with a new advertising campaign. The Daily Mailhas the story:
Boris Johnson last night begged families to stay at home as the Covid death toll hit a grim new record.
He said infections were rising at an alarming rate, despite the lockdown imposed at the start of the week.
And he warned the only way to prevent thousands more deaths was to follow the rules. “I know the last year has taken its toll,” the Prime Minister said. “But your compliance is now more vital than ever…”
With the virus apparently running rampant in London, an advertising blitz will run on TV, radio, newspapers and social media carrying shocking images of the severely ill in hospital…
The hard-hitting ad campaign was launched on TV last night, fronted by Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty. He said that while vaccines provided “clear hope for the future… for now we must all stay at home”.
Professor Whitty, who is the most trusted Government figure on Covid, said the rapid spread of the virus was putting “many people at risk of serious disease and is placing a lot of pressure on our NHS”.
Dramatic images will carry the stark message: “Coronavirus. If you go out, you can spread it. People will die.”
The intervention appears to be prompted by concerns about compliance, which is far below the level seen during the first lockdown in March last year:
No 10 fears that Mr Johnson’s stay-at-home order is being flouted, a suspicion backed up by figures from Transport for London.
Passenger levels on the Underground were running at 18% yesterday, compared with just 5% last April.
Bus use is at 30% of capacity, compared with around 18% in the first lockdown.
And traffic levels on main roads in the capital were at 76% of normal compared with 30-40% nine months ago.
Having declared a ‘major incident’, Sadiq Khan is calling for tighter restrictions:
The major incident declared by Mr Khan yesterday is a procedure previously invoked following the Grenfell Tower disaster and major terrorist attacks.
The Mayor called for the closure of places of worship and for face masks to be worn routinely outside the home. Downing Street sources said there were “no more new lockdown measures on the way”.
But the Mail understands that Health Secretary Matt Hancock and other ministers have been examining the case to extend the use of masks.
The Telegraph meanwhile, offers some further detail on the mood inside the Government:
Ministers are increasingly concerned about compliance with the lockdown but believe there are few additional major options left to tighten the restrictions any further.
“There’s not a lot more that we can do,” said a Government source. “We’ve put in these very tough national restrictions. It is a lockdown for everyone all the time.” The source stressed that the focus now was on persuading the public to obey the current rules.
Heavier-handed enforcement remains a lever the Government could pull, however. Police forces are already stepping up their role, having said this week that they will take a stricter approach to the latest lockdown.
Government insiders pointed out that the blanket lockdown rules are simpler and should therefore be easier to police than the tiers system.
Whatever impact this will have on the situation in the hospitals, it has a nasty side-effect in overzealous enforcement of the rules, as the Telegraphreports:
People having snowball fights outside face £200 fines for breaching Covid lockdown rules, police have said, amid criticism of heavy-handedness by officers.
West Mercia Police said snowball fights were not a justifiable reason for people to leave their homes during lockdown.
They wrote on Twitter: “There have been two reports of snowballs being thrown last night between 11 and 11.30pm. This is obviously not a justifiable reason to be out of your house, this behaviour is likely to result in a £200 Fixed Penalty Notice for breaking the lockdown rules.”
The action came after police chiefs warned this week that they will take a tougher approach to the latest lockdown, including challenging and fining people outside their homes without a reasonable excuse.
On Friday, figures showed police have more than doubled the rate at which they are issuing Covid fines, with a record 7,396 in the first 20 days of December – the equivalent of more than 350 a day.
It came after two women were hit with £200 Covid fines after their countryside walk with cups of coffee was branded a picnic.
The women said they were surrounded by police, read their rights and fined after driving five miles to take a walk in the Derbyshire countryside. They were told the hot drinks they had brought along were not allowed because they were “classed as a picnic”.
Guidance for the latest lockdown says people can travel for exercise as long as it is in their “local area”. Derbyshire Police said driving for exercise was “not in the spirit” of lockdown.
Stop Press:RT is reporting that West Mercia Police has rowed back on the criminalisation of snowball fights.
Stop Press 2: The Mirror has a grim story of police storming a house over a suspected lockdown breach on the strength of a tip-off from a member of the public. A neighbour reported the occupants for unauthorised household mixing, but it turned out the “strangers” seen entering the properly were paramedics bringing the family’s sick daughter back from hospital. There may have been plants who deliberately instigated storming the Capitol Building just as others placed skids of bricks and broke windows to encourage the Black Live protests into looting. The object here is far deeper than the people the press is reporting. The Democrats are now calling this an “insurrection” and demanding that Pence invoke the 25th Amendment or they will impeach Trump by January 20th? An insurrection is defined as a violent uprising against an authority or government. Yet many are saying that the Capitol Police opened the barricades to let the Trump protesters in.
I have been saying all along, even when Ronald Reagan was elected, in Washington the republican establishment said they would have to train him. For nearly 40 years of working with people in Washington, it was always evident – they do not like an outsider. Trump was not a politician and the means was trying to manipulate the 2016 election for Hillary. They focused on Trump 90% of the time and gave little air time coverage to other candidates. The decision was to push Trump because they assumed he could never win. When Trump won, they were blaming themselves and set out on their mission to hate everything Trump had to say. Even the Republicans were against Trump – i.e. John McCain. Even Lindsey Grahm smashed his phone in protest of Trump.
The chief of police of Capitol Hill has resigned. Look at this photo, It appears staged. But more importantly, it is being used to demean every conservative who supported Trump against the socialist New Green Deal coming. The purpose of allowing the people into the Capitol was to create this image of the people who support Trump are crazy radicals because they know 80 million people voted for Trump. They now need to demoralize them and su8ppress them and their ideas to further the take over of the United States with this new Agenda. Already, the alternative energy groups are rallying and telling everyone fossil fuels are history. Others keep spinning wild conspiracy theory claiming it is not over and somehow Trump will prevail. Is this to keep the violence coming? Trump, on the other hand, has come out and said that this was a “heinous” attack on Capitol. He also called for “healing and reconciliation” and an “orderly transition of power.” This is over – there is no path to victory for Trump. When the Supreme Court refused to hear the Texas case, they showed their cards – had a royal flush and they won – no intervention regardless of the allegations.
The protests surrounding the 2020 US election reached a climax on Wednesday afternoon. Nevertheless, it had been steadily brewing for weeks, and its implications will last for years way beyond Trump. Trump played into this because he made a fatal mistake. He had no idea that his attempt to train the swamp would backfire in the form of a covert coup. Every personal Trump took on was seasoned politicians. Their loyalties would NEVER lie with him – Washington will be there long after his is gone. They would NEVER bite the system that feeds them. The goal from the outset was to control Trump. The more he tried to buck the trend, the more they conspired against him. What he did not realize is that there is no Constitution. That is something people invoke to make a point but they never abide by its fundamental intent – to restrict the power of government. All the Bill of Rights has been flipped by the courts to make people think they have rights, when in fact they are NEGATIVE restrains upon government. Look at any of the Amendments. Take the first!
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The very words “Congress shall make no laws” is a restraint upon government, it is not your right to free speech, it is a prohibition against Congress from infringing upon free speech.
Trump thought that he had won more votes than any incumbent and that the election was stolen. Our model projected it would be a razor thing election, but Trump should have won. Nevertheless, I have warned that the computer was right and wrong in the 2000 election. It projected Gore should have won. It was handed to Bush. Later it was shown that Gore should have won. So the computer was correct, yet wrong. I warned that there was a global coup against Trump and this was not merely Trump v Biden. After everything is said and done, the evidence will show the election was stolen, but there will be nothing anyone can do. Trump’s mistake was thinking there is some ethical morality in Washington. There is none! “Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!” he tweeted of the protestto mark the day Biden’s win would be certified. That was classic Trump thinking he could fight when the system was determined to purge him from office.
After pro-Trump protestors stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, the president has suffered several high-profile resignations from his administration and growing calls from Democrats for him to be removed from office. Meanwhile, the DC federal prosecutor claims he may indict Trump for the riot. All the resignations are the people showing that they all along were loyal to the system – never Trump.
The entire object of this has been to discredit all conservative resistance and to render that futile. The Republicans will not be there to defend the people. They are there to defend the system. The future going into 2022 will see a third party rise. Who will be at the head is anyone’s guess.
Hebrew Scholar: ‘Amen’ is Not Gendered, and ‘A-Woman’ is Nonsense

WASHINGTON — The word “amen” is not a gendered word and the term “a-women” is entirely made up, a professor of theology who specializes in Hebrew told CNA, after a prayer in the U.S. Congress used the fake word.
On Sunday, January 3, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-MO), led the opening prayer for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Cleaver, an ordained Methodist pastor who served for 37 years as the senior pastor of St. James United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Missouri, ended his prayer asking for peace in the legislative chamber, “in the name of the monotheistic God, Brahma, and God known by many names by many different faiths. Amen and a-women.”
“Brahma” is the Hindu creator deity. There are members of the legislature who belong to Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, and Unitarian Universalist faiths.
While the word “amen” ends in “men,” like “repairmen” or “handymen,” it is not in reference to a gender, Dr. John Bergsma of the Franciscan University of Steubenville said to CNA on Monday. Bergsma has taught four undergraduate courses on Hebrew, as well as a summer intensive on the language.
“‘Amen’ is a Hebrew word whose root meaning is ‘truth,’” Bergsma explained to CNA. “Already in ancient times, the Israelites used the term ‘amen’ in solemn ceremonies to express consent to the truth of what was said, meaning, ‘it is true’ or ‘so be it,’ depending on context.”
In Hebrew, said Bergsma, the word for man is ‘adam’ or ‘ish,’ and is unrelated to the word “amen.”
“In fact, the Hebrew pronunciation is ‘ah-MAIN,’ rhyming with ‘train,’ and doesn’t sound like ‘men,’” he said. “It is a verbal form, not a noun.”
The use of “amen” in Christian liturgical and prayerful context, said Bergsma, “expresses complete consent and faith in what is being said or done, as when we approach the Eucharist and say ‘amen’ to the minister’s statement, ‘The Body of Christ’.”
“At the end of prayer, ‘amen” expresses our solemn consent to what has been said in prayer, affirming that we have been truthful and expressing faith in God’s truthfulness and trustworthiness,” he said.
As for Cleaver’s use of “a-women” in Sunday’s prayer?
“‘A-women’ is wordplay for comical or political effect in English,” said Bergsma. “Strictly speaking, it is a nonsensical mashup of syllables from different languages.”
I have been warning that those in Washington DO NOT like outsiders. Only 106 republicans out of 196 joined Texas demonstrating that behind the curtain, nearly 50% of republican politicians prefer Trump to leave because he is not one of them. The Supreme Court avoided ruling claiming Texas had no standing which is completely false. Not giving a decision, either way, will propel civil unrest as each side claims they are right. Already people in Texas are talking about secession might be the answer for pro-Trump states. This time, we are approaching the break up of the United States and it may indeed be the only solution. No side has the right to oppress the other and the Supreme Court will NOT defend the people or the Constitution. The rule of law was the foundation of civilization, and refusing to comply with that duty condemns the nation to oblivion.
The Supreme Court has NO DISCRETION whatsoever to deny the petition and I do not say that as being supportive of the action. The only way to settle this dispute is to rule then both sides would have no choice but to settle down. This way, the election will always be in dispute. Biden got more votes in each of these swing states than Hillary or Obama which was NOT the case in any other state. This is indicative of fraud and it should have been addressed yes or no. This election was STOLEN not be Biden, but by an international agenda which has taken over the entire West and they needed Trump removed. Just look at the Agenda 2030 coming from Klaus Schwab and you will see the real future we face. This is the man who is destroying the future of civilization, will fail in his Marxist dreams, and will leave the West in shambles as the financial capital migrates to China.
UNCONSTITUTIONAL ON ITS FACE
The Judiciary Act of 1925 held that the Supreme Court would have the discretion to select what it wants to hear in direct violation of the Constitution, which has NEVER been addressed. The Constitution ONLY established the Supreme Court as part of a tripartite government and the separation of powers as laid out as essential to constrain tyranny by Montesquieu, who was also the inspiration for the Second Amendment which was to keep citizens armed rather than maintain standing armies to prevent war.
As such, the lower courts were created ONLY by statute under Congress and could just as easily be shut down. The only court required by the Constitution is the Supreme Court and every Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States are required to take two oaths before they may execute the duties of their appointed office – (1) the Constitutional Oath to defend it and (2) the Judicial Oath.
Therefore, anyone can see on its face that the Judiciary Act of 1925 is unconstitutional for it violates their oath to defend the constitution when they have the discretion to not hear cases. Previously, the Supreme Court ruled and ignored this time when it defined “discretion” by saying “the term ‘discretion’ denotes the absence of a hard and fast rule.” Langnes v Green, 282 US 531, 541 (1931). This means that those in power do not have to obey any law, even the Constitution. The Supreme Court also said, “it is obvious that discretion does not exist where there is no power to act except in one way.” Jones v SEC, 298 US 1, 18 (1936). When judges and politicians claim discretion, they claim to be ABOVE the law of men.
Now, turning to the Texas lawsuit, I agree with Justices Alito and Thomas that the court had “no discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction.”
Article III, Section II of the Constitution establishes the jurisdiction (legal ability to hear a case) of the Supreme Court. The Court has original jurisdiction (a case is tried before the Court) over certain cases, e.g., suits between two or more states and/or cases involving ambassadors and other public ministers.
This case squarely fell within the original jurisdiction since it was a case “between two or more states” and therefore, this denial was in itself unconstitutional relying on the discretion granted illegally by the Judiciary Act of 1925. Obviously, the majority of the court simply did not want to get into this election dispute. Like Dread Scott, which tried to avoid the issue of slavery by ruling that blacks had no rights under the Constitution to avoid ruling which led to the Civil War, the Supreme Court has once again condemned the country to Civil War for is the Democrats try to implement the Agenda 2030, they will unleash violence no different than the Russian revolution. Klaus Schwab knows this will lead to revolution and has flipped to claiming if his agenda is NOT adopted there will be a revolution from the BLM movement he helped to inspire.
The Texas lawsuit turned on the Electoral College Clause.
“Constitutional Background The Electors Clause requires that each State “shall appoint” its Presidential Electors “in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct.” U.S. CONST. art. II, § 1, cl. 2
As set forth in the Complaint, executive and judicial officials made significant changes to the legislatively defined election laws in the Defendant States. … Taken together, these non-legislative changes did away with statutory ballot-security measures for absentee and mail-in ballots such as signature verification, witness requirements, and statutorily authorized secure ballot drop-off locations”
There is no doubt that they had an argument and that it fell squarely within the Original Jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. Alito and Thomas recognized that. The fact that the other 7 justices denied cert merely shows they did not want to rule on this matter which is an exercise of discretion that has now doomed the USA to continuing violence. In doing so, they have violated the civil right of the entire nation and condemned the world to the ruthless tyranny coming out of the World Economic Forum. Based upon information and belief, this entire “Build Back Better” movement has been designed by the marketing firm Edelman which already appears to be pushing this new world order and is also in a partnership with the World Economic Forum.
There is nothing left for doubt that this entire Agenda 2030 amounts to the take over of the United States. WHY EVERYONE HAS STANDING IN A CIVIL RIGHTS CLASS ACTION
In the Supreme Court decision Bush v Gore 531 U.S. 98 (2000), it did raise the equal protection problem with different election procedures nationally. The court held Per Curiam:Despite violating the Fourteenth Amendment by using disparate vote-counting procedures in different counties, Florida did not need to complete a recount in the 2000 presidential election because it could not be accomplished in a constitutionally valid way within the time limit set by federal law for resolving these controversies.
There were indications that the Court recognized the need for nationwide electoral reform under Due Process and the Equal Protection Clause. How states do their own elections do not impact other states. However, election anyone federally impacts the rights of everyone. Looking at the lower courts, at least one federal court has suggested that the courts could order a new election. In 1976, an Eastern District Court in New York heard a case, Donohue v. Board of Elections of State of NY, 435 F. Supp. 957 (E.D.N.Y. 1976), where it was alleged that voter fraud in several urban locations took place not unlike what we see right now. In that decision, the court maintained that federal courts had a role to play in ensuring free and fair presidential elections. It held:
“It is difficult to imagine a more damaging blow to public confidence in the electoral process than the election of a President whose margin of victory was provided by fraudulent registration or voting, ballot-stuffing or other illegal means.”
Interestingly, the court didn’t find sufficient evidence that voter fraud had altered the outcome, or even occurred at all. Still, experts disagree about whether courts can order presidential elections to be held again. If there is a violation of rules that would change the election outcome, then the courts would be compelled to act and federally this is why Texas is suing Pennsylvania. Now 17 other states are joining Texas v Pennsylvania. What Pennsylvania and Georgia for that matter do to try to prevent recounts impacts the Equal Protection of the Law and Due Process rights of everyone else in the entire country.
ELECTION VIOLATED OUR CIVIL RIGHTS
Within the Legal Code Title 18, Section 241, it has been an important statutory tool in election crime prosecutions. It has long been held to apply only to schemes to corrupt elections for federal office. It has been applied to stuffing a ballot box with forged ballots, United States v. Saylor, 322 U.S. 385 (1944); United States v. Mosley, 238 U.S. 383 (1915) as well as preventing the official count of ballots in primary elections, United States v. Classic, 313 U.S. 299 (1941), which may come in handy in this election. This means private suites can be filed claiming that interfering with the ballots is a civil rights violation to all in the country.
Destroying voter registration applications is also applicable (United States v. Haynes, Nos. 91-5979, 91-6076, 1992 WL 296782, at *1 (6th Cir. Oct. 15, 1992)), as well as destroying ballots (United States v. Townsley, 843 F.2d 1070, 1073–75 (8th Cir. 1988)).
Anyone who exploits the infirmities of elderly or handicapped people by casting absentee ballots in their names is also a violation of civil rights, United States v. Morado, 454 F.2d 167, 171 (5th Cir. 1972), just as anyone who illegally register voters and cast absentee ballots in their names, United States v. Weston, 417 F.2d 181, 182–85 (4th Cir. 1969).
Anyone who threatens injury, threaten, or intimidate a voter in the exercise of his right to vote is also a serious actionable issue under this statute, Fields v. United States, 228 F.2d 544 (4th Cir. 1955). This even extends to someone who impersonates qualified voters, Crolich v. United States, 196 F.2d 879, 879 (5th Cir. 1952).
A guardare le cifre sciorinate ogni giorno dall’Istituto Superiore di Sanità, i conti non tornano, soprattutto il rapporto tra usciti dalle terapie intensive e morti. È chiaro che siamo di fronte a numeri gonfiati per creare uno stato di paura che permette un potere sempre più dispotico. Solo il Natale vissuto rappresenta il fatto imprevisto che puà cambiare lo scenario e liberare le persone dalla paura.
Ci rendiamo conto che si tratta di un argomento molto delicato perché dietro i numeri dei deceduti ci sono persone reali che hanno sofferto, che hanno lasciato questo mondo, ci sono famiglie in lutto, ci sono altre persone contagiate e nella sofferenza. Questo però non ci esime da un giudizio su quanto sta accadendo, anche perché c’è la fortissima sensazione (e diciamo pure che è molto più di una sensazione) che qualcuno con i morti ci stia giocando allegramente.
Nei numeri che ogni giorno ci vengono sciorinati c’è qualcosa che non torna. La situazione dei contagi e anche dei ricoveri sta nettamente migliorando, tanto è vero che dal 6 dicembre non ci sono più zone rosse (ci sarebbe solo l’Abruzzo, ma il governatore ha deciso autonomamente di scendere a livello arancione), mentre ben 12 regioni e province autonome sono zona gialla. Soltanto tre settimane prima, c’erano ben 8 zone rosse, 8 arancioni e soltanto 5 gialle. Non solo, contrariamente a marzo-aprile – come abbiamo già detto tante volte – oggi sappiamo molte cose sull’evoluzione del Covid e ci sono anche delle terapie che vengono effettuate con successo malgrado i tanti ostacoli frapposti (ma su questo torneremo ancora). Ancora un elemento: la primavera scorsa il virus imperversava soprattutto in alcune regioni e in modo particolare nelle province di Bergamo e Brescia, creando enormi problemi alle strutture sanitarie e quindi un numero maggiore di morti. Oggi invece i contagi sono diffusi in tutto il paese e anche se ci sono situazioni di criticità, siamo ben lontani dalla situazione di marzo e aprile. Eppure il dato che viene offerto quotidianamente delle persone decedute è esattamente ai livelli di marzo-aprile. Già qui c’è qualcosa che non torna: come mai tanti morti per Covid quando le condizioni sono oggi ben diverse?
Ma se andiamo più a fondo nell’osservazione dei dati che vengono forniti dall’Istituto Superiore di Sanità, troviamo altre incongruenze. La principale riguarda le terapie intensive. Data l’evoluzione del Covid, è da qui infatti che dovrebbero uscire se non tutti, almeno la stragrande maggioranza dei deceduti. In genere, si va infatti in ospedale quando iniziano le difficoltà respiratorie, è qui che si può avere un aggravamento che poi porta alla terapia intensiva ed eventualmente alla morte. Oggi non si sentono più casi di persone che di punto in bianco crollano a terra morti mentre sono in strada o in casa, come è accaduto mesi fa. Se ci fossero, troveremmo i titoli in prima pagina se non anche le foto, visti i livelli a cui stiamo arrivando.
Ieri dunque, ci dice l’Istituto Superiore di Sanità, ci sono stati 528 morti di Covid. Vediamo allora la situazione delle terapie intensive: ieri vi figuravano 3.382 ricoverati, numero in calo rispetto al giorno precedente, quando erano 3.454, cioè 72 in più. Inoltre i nuovi ingressi del giorno in terapia intensiva sono stati 144. Vale a dire che in un giorno sono uscite dalla terapia intensiva 216 persone (72+144). Sappiamo però che la stragrande maggioranza delle persone escono dalla terapia intensiva guarite: i deceduti, ci dicono i responsabili delle terapie intensive, variano tra il 10 e il 20%. Quindi, anche nella peggiore delle ipotesi, ieri sono uscite morte dalle terapie intensive 43 persone, numero 12 volte inferiore al numero ufficiale dei morti per Covid. E se si va indietro nei giorni, la situazione è analoga.
E allora gli altri conteggiati come Covid da dove escono? Abbiamo ormai un’indicazione chiara del fatto che si classificano come morte per Covid anche persone che a un certo punto di quest’anno sono risultate positive al tampone, pur se non c’è alcuna relazione provata tra il contagio e la causa effettiva della morte. In altre parole se una persona muore d’infarto ma cinque mesi fa era risultata positiva al Covid, viene inserita nell’elenco dei morti per Covid.
Non solo, la direttiva del Ministero della Salute alle autorità locali per compilare il form con cui si comunicano i dati complessivi della situazione Covid, alla voce “deceduti” spiega: «Inserire il totale dei casi confermati con test molecolare che sono deceduti, anche con diagnosi post-mortem, alla data della compilazione». Dunque, si entra nella lista dei deceduti per Covid anche se si risulta positivi dopo la morte che, dal punto di vista clinico, era stata attribuita a tutt’altro. Non si considera la diagnosi clinica, che ad ogni buon conto sarebbe l’unica che avrebbe valore, ma soltanto il tampone, malgrado questo sia un test che non ha valore diagnostico.
È chiaro che ci troviamo di fronte a numeri artificiosamente gonfiati, ed è difficile non arrivare alla conclusione che questo sia voluto in modo da spaventare le persone e giustificare gli arresti domiciliari di un’intera popolazione. La paura è un grande strumento di potere; con questo terrorismo mediatico quotidiano – che può contare sullo schieramento compatto dei grandi giornali e tv – buona parte degli italiani è già “addomesticata” e “sottomessa”. Vivrà da isolata il Natale e sarà pronta a porgere il braccio non appena scatterà la chiamata alla vaccinazione; anzi implorerà di essere vaccinata. E nel frattempo continuerà a seguire con crescente angoscia il rito quotidiano delle cifre del terrore.
Solo un fatto nuovo, imprevisto, potrebbe rovesciare la situazione. Il Natale è questo fatto nuovo, imprevisto: Dio che irrompe nella storia, che si fa uomo e compagno di vita per assimilarci a Lui; la verità che rivela per quello che è la menzogna del potere; la risposta al nostro desiderio di infinito che ci libera dalla paura degli uomini. La malattia, la sofferenza, la morte sono parte della vita, ma non ci definiscono, il Natale viene a ricordarci questo: viene la luce che dissipa le tenebre. È per questo che i cristiani sono perseguitati: vivendo con lo sguardo rivolto al Signore, sono la resistenza invincibile al potere della menzogna. È la battaglia che si combatte anche attorno al Covid, e prepariamoci alla persecuzione che toccherà a chi si ostinerà a dire che il Re è nudo.
